Wealth Advisor

About Reid

Reid believes financial planning starts with getting to know the person behind the numbers. He enjoys sitting down with clients, catching up on life, and understanding what matters most to them before getting into the details of their financial plan. By taking time to understand each client’s priorities, values, and goals, Reid works with them to build strategies that fit

Growing up in Manning, South Carolina, he was shaped by a close-knit family and community that emphasized respect, integrity, and showing up for others. Those values continue to guide the way he lives and works today.

Reid’s path to wealth management was not a traditional one. After graduating from Clemson University in 2001, he earned his law degree from the University of Maryland School of Law and practiced law in the Columbia area for several years. In 2011, he made the transition to financial advising—a decision that ultimately led him to work he finds deeply fulfilling.

Today, Reid values the relationships he builds with clients and the trust they place in him. He believes the planning process should be collaborative, allowing clients to feel informed, confident, and comfortable with the decisions they make.

Reid is especially grateful to be at a stage in life where he can prioritize both family and meaningful work. Money is not the most important thing in life, but when used intentionally, it can be a powerful tool for creating opportunities and supporting the people, experiences, and priorities that matter most.
